September festival celebrates food of Oregon

August 2, 2017 by

The Bite of Oregon festival is taking place in portland for four days early next month.

The festival will celebrate seven separate regions of Oregon including Portlandia, Eastern Oregon, and the Oregon Coast. Guests will get to sample the best food, craft beer, and wine from these seven regions. The food and drink will be provided by restaurants, caterers, wineries, and breweries. There will be food carts and dessert booths too.

The event will be divided into several areas, with Distillery Row the place to find alcoholic drinks and Appetizer Alley filled with booths handing out food samples. Guests can also visit a craft beer garden or the Sweet Spot.

Sports Oregon will be on hand and will present many representatives of regional sports teams. Those with a competitive edge can watch the Iron Chef Oregon contest.

In addition to food and drink, there will be live musical performances throughout the four-day festival. Portland stationery printers are often asked to provide signage and banners to highlight events such as this.

The Bite of Oregon will be held at the Portland Rose Quarter from September 1 to 4 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM each day. Tickets are $5 per day or $10 for a weekend pass, or a beer enthusiast pass is available for $35 and includes a beer glass, two drink tickets, and four appetizer tickets.
