Portland prepares to kick-off the holiday season

November 3, 2017 by

The 35th annual Providence Festival of Trees is taking place in Portland beginning on the last day of this month and running for three days.

The festival is set to start off with the O Night Divine gala dinner and auction. Proceeds will be donated to Providence Children’s Health. Tickets are $200 each and guests will enjoy cocktails and dinner. They will also have the opportunity to take part in silent and live auctions, enter the golden treasure raffle and tour the trees and other items on display.

There will be a large number of decorated trees designed by professionals and amateurs, all with separate themes. There will also be wreaths, gingerbread houses and holiday displays. Guests will have the chance to frost Christmas cookies, make holiday crafts, and bring a friend to the Teddy Bear Hospital for some care. In addition, there will be live holiday entertainment.

This is a popular event each year in Portland and no doubt organizers have invested in poster printing services to help spread the word.

The Providence Festival of Trees will be held at the Oregon Convention Center from November 30 until December 2. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $8 for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Call 503-216-6625 for the most current information about this annual event.
