Art festival returns to Portland for two weeks

The 15th annual Time-Based Art Festival (TBA) is taking place next month in Portland. The event is presented by the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art.

The festival is set to feature contemporary art projects, dance, music, and poetry performances from artists from around the world. There will be screenings of short films, workshops, panel discussions, and lectures, as well as visual art installations. Events will take place at several locations in the city. Some of the musical performers expected to appear at this year’s festival are Kelly Pratt, Dohee Lee, and Demian DineYazhi.

The opening night party will take place on September 7, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art. It will feature a dinner prepared by some of the top local chefs. It will be in the form of a block party and will feature live performances. Tickets are $100 each.

They are various passes available for purchase, such as the patron pass allowing access to all performances and activities for $500. An immersion pass is $250, an enthusiast pass is $150 and a works pass for all late night events is $60.
