Annual festival will help cool down the summer

June 2, 2018 by

The Waterfront Blues Festival is taking place in Portland next month for four days. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Oregon Food Bank and Sunshine Division.

The festival will feature dozens of music artists from all over the world. Included in this year’s festival will be George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Beth Hart, The Revivalists, and Ruthie Foster.

In addition, to the many concerts, there will be plenty of other activities taking place. There will be blues cruises on the Portland Spirit where guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a dinner buffet. There will be two after-parties on the last two nights of the festival at the Marriott Downtown Waterfront, a Harmonica Blow Off, and dance lessons and competitions.

The Louisiana Pavilion will have information about the Mardi Gras and Louisiana culture, kids’ craft activities and a second-line parade. Various Louisiana merchandise will also be available for purchase. Of course, there will also be a fireworks display on July 4.

Portland poster printing firms are often asked to help advertise events such as this.

The Waterfront Blues Festival will be held at Tom McCall Waterfront Park from July 4 to 7. Tickets are $40 for four days, with VIP tickets also available from $75 up to $1,250. For the most current information, visit the official event website.
