Port Washington to host street fest

Residents in Port Washington and the rest of Long Island are excited for the return of the Manorhaven Street Festival. The event includes shopping, entertainment, activities, and more.

The fest will feature local businesses, artists and crafters selling a variety of different wares. Visitors can look forwards to buying locally made goods such as art, fashion, jewelry, or woodwork, or perusing the items for sale in local shops. The city is still accepting applications for vendors for the event, and interested parties should contact the city directly for business forms.

In addition to the shopping, food trucks will also be on-site offering a number of food options from pizza to barbecue to hamburgers and more. Guests will also be able to eat at any of the local restaurants located along Manorhaven Boulevard, which will be open for the duration of the event.

For children, there is a variety of entertainment available. Clowns will be performing at the festival, doing tricks, juggling, making balloon animals, and making people laugh. Families will also have the opportunity to get their faces painted, and bounce houses will also be set up for the event.

The Manorhaven Street Festival will be held on June 24 from 11:30 to 4:30 p.m. along Manorhaven Blvd. Attendance to the event is free to the public. Anyone looking for more information should contact the city directly.
