Port Washington preparing for Party in the Park

July 26, 2017 by

Port Washington’s Party in the Park will be back once again this autumn, and the organizers of this community event have put out a call to local companies, organizations and individuals that may be interested in showing it some support.

This carnival-style festival will offer lots to see and do for kids, no matter how young or young at heart they may be. There will be rides on a trackless train, an assortment of different games, cotton candy, and other treats to enjoy, face painting and more. Kids can get up close and personal with turtles and snakes, courtesy of Alley Pond Environmental Center, and there will also be an environmentally themed scavenger hunt as well.

Various levels of sponsorship opportunities have been made available for local companies and organizations that wish to support this event that brings the community together. Anyone with questions about the benefits of doing so has been asked to contact Lisa Grossman at (516) 767-9151. A local printer can supply logo design and other creative services for an annual function such as this, which can help to make sure it is a success.

Party in the Park, which is being brought to the community courtesy of Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington, will take place on October 1 in Blumfeld Family Park. Further details can be found on the community website.
