Networking luncheon for a cause to be held near Port Washington

Members of the Port Washington business community may wish to save the date for an event that will combine a networking luncheon with helping kids in need in the local area, and further afield as well.

The Make Life Brighter luncheon will bring together business owners and professionals from throughout the area, all in support of the Richard M. Brodsky Foundation. Lunch will be served, and along with this, there will be lots of time for the attendees to network and connect with one another.

As a thank you to those who come out, there will be a raffle drawing for an assortment of prizes. It has been organized by The We Care Committee of the Great Neck Chamber of Commerce, which has selected the foundation as its charity of choice for the year.

The monies raised will be used to support a variety of initiatives that help families with a low income meet the expenses of caring for a child who is HIV positive or has cancer. A business card printing service can craft creative networking materials for use during an event like this.

The luncheon, which will combine networking with helping others who are coping with a child’s illness, has been planned for October 18 in the Inn At Great Neck. More details can be found by contacting the Chamber of Commerce through its website.
