Pittsburgh event to lend support to endangered wildlife

An invitation has been issued to Pittsburgh bowlers to lend endangered wildlife a helping hand.

The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) has organized Bowling for Rhinos, which will see teams take part in a conservation event that has been held for more than 25 years. The evening will kick off at 6:00 pm, and the game itself will run from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Along with an opportunity to bowl, those who come out will also receive their shoe rental, snacks and light refreshments, and also a custom designed T-shirt. They can purchase tickets for the gift basket raffle, and there will also be a silent auction, an even split draw, prizes for the best fundraisers and also the bowlers with the best and worst scores. A local printer’s graphic design team will be able to use graphic design to craft logos and other branding for a function such as this.

The monies raised through this function will be combined with that raised by the other 80 AAZK chapters to help support its conservation work. These include efforts to ensure that the habitat endangered species need to survive will be protected.

Bowling for Rhinos 2017 will take place at Pittsburgh’s Arsenal Bowling Lanes on June 24. The ticket price has been set at $30 each, and more information has been made available on the AAZK’s website.
