The Flashes of Freedom: Celebrate America celebration is taking place next month in Pittsburgh.

Activities will be taking place in four separate areas in Point State Park. The day will start off with a flag raising ceremony and the singing of the national anthem.

There will be live musical entertainment by artists like The Dorals and Jimbo and the Soupbones. There is set to be a military appreciation exposition, rifle and musket demonstrations and fife and drum performances. There will also be food vendors and a bike valet. In addition, local businesses will be showcasing their products and/or services.

The Kids’ Zone will feature patriotic crafts, airbrush tattoos, caricature drawing and face painting. Children will also have the opportunity to design their own fireworks. Most of these activities will take place at the Fort Pitt Museum.

There will also be a game between soccer teams the Riverhounds and the Charlotte Independence.

Of course, the day will finish off with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 9:30 PM.

Pittsburgh businesses that are participating in this event may invest in sign or banner printing services to get their booths noticed.

The Flashes of Freedom: Celebrate America festival will be held at Point State Park on July 4 from 12:00 to 9:35 PM. Admission is free. Visit the event website for more.
