The 31st annual EQT Children’s Theater Festival is taking place next month for four days, presented by the pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

Professional theater companies from all over the world will be performing in productions such as ‘We Built This City’ from the Polyglot Theatre in Australia and ‘The Way Back Home’ from Teater Refleksion and Branar Theater, which is a Denmark and Ireland co-production. There will also be music, dance, and other performances during the run of the festival.

There are set to be over 40 free educational and cultural activities throughout the festival, gallery installations, and pop-up performances.

Some of the free activities planned include the Frog Stop Scavenger Hunt (where participants will win prizes), a LEGO derby, and Robotlab. In addition, there will be the Citiparks Roving Art Cart, eyeball art and an imagination playground with educational games and activities.

It is likely that organizers will have invested in services such poster printing from Pittsburgh stationery printing companies. The posters can then be displayed all over the city and in surrounding communities.

The EQT Children’s Theater Festival will be held at various venues in the Pittsburgh Cultural District from May 18 to 21. Ticket prices range from $9 and up. To get a full schedule of the festival, contact the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust at 412-456-6666.
