Annual convention to attract organizers far and wide

March 18, 2017 by

NAPO 2017 is taking place over four days in Pittsburgh next month. It is the annual convention of the National Association of Professional Organizers.

The convention is open to everyone who has an interest in succeeding as an organizer or starting their own business. It is also the location of the NAPO Annual Meeting, which is only for members.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Jones Loflin, who will be talking about how to grow a business. There will also be a number of speakers who will be discussing subjects such as ‘Leadership 101’, understanding the thoughts of a master procrastinator, and organizing solutions. There will also be special interest group meetings.

Attendees can also compete for Chapter Challenge awards, which are given to those who bring the largest number of people with them.

There are many social events taking place over the four-day convention. These include a President’s reception, a networking dinner, and several luncheons.

Vendors will be on hand to exhibit their organization-related products and services. It is likely that members of the NAPO will receive printed invitations to this Pittsburgh event, perhaps provided by a local stationery printing firm.

NAPO 2017 will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center from April 26 to 29. Conference fees are $699 for NAPO members and $1,050 for nonmembers, or $550 per day. Call 856-380-6828 to learn more.
