Upcoming fundraiser supports local sports teams

The Spring Fling is taking place next month in Pineville, and is a fundraising event for the Pineville Community Athletic Association (PCAA).

The PCAA supports many local baseball and softball teams and aims to get children and their parents excited about physical recreation.

There will be several inflatables on site, as well as family-friendly games. Local vendors will also be on hand to sell their items, and community groups will be providing information about their services and programs for the general public.

In addition, several PCAA T-ball, softball, and baseball games will be taking place on the day of the festival. Visitors can also participate in a hit-a-thon for prizes and glory.

Sponsorships are available for local businesses and individuals who wish to help the organization raise the money it needs.

The festival comes close to the beginning of the softball and baseball seasons and will give the public an opportunity to get their children involved in organized sports.

No doubt organizers have invested in services such as flyer printing in Pineville to help spread the word about this event in the community.

The Spring Fling will be held at Jack Hughes Park on April 22 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free. To find out more about the festival, or to become a sponsor, visit the Town of Pineville’s official website.
