Pineville invited to take part in local tool bank tour

Pineville not-for-profit groups and the public alike have been invited to come to a special tour hosted by an organization that lends out tools and other items for use in special events.

The host of the occasion will be the Charlotte Community ToolBank. This locally based group helps charities to save money by supplying them with equipment at a very low cost.

Those who take part in the event will be given a first-hand, behind-the-scenes look of the ToolBank’s warehouse, and learn more about how it operates. Snacks will be served, and each guest will be given a mall gift to thank them for coming out. Branded promotional products for this type of function can be provided by a printer in the local area.

In addition to all of this, one of the attendees will win a $10 credit for the tool lender, which they can donate to their favorite not-for-profit. The organization can then redeem it to borrow whatever it needs. The total retail value of this is over $325.

This sneak peek into how this locally based nonprofit company operates will be offered on April 10. It will be held at 2513 South Tryon Street in Charlotte. More details, including a chance to register to be included in the tour, can be found on its website.
