In just a little while, downtown Scottsdale will be the site of one of the most celebrated and well-known holiday traditions.

The main attraction of the celebration will be the artwork of more than 175 artists from all over the United States. This year the event is formally titled The 23rd Annual ArtFest, and it will be held at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza.

Visitors will be able to enjoy more than fine art alone; there will also be fine crafts on display. All vendors present might benefit from business cards to further promote their businesses. For the book lovers, there will be local authors present with whom guests might discuss their works. To enhance and enliven the environment, guests will be able to watch and listen to the tunes of live music performances all about the festival area. In case visitors have an appetite, there will be tasty foods available for their consumption.

There will also be specific amenities to make for a more family-oriented occasion. There will be hands-on activities for the kids to enjoy, and families can bring the dog too. The event, which is just 12 miles northeast of Phoenix, is expected to attract the attendance of over 30,000 people.

The event takes place on November 19 and 20, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm each day.
