Phoenix fundraiser to support its public safety personnel

The Phoenix 911 response system plays an important role in an emergency, and local residents and businesses who would like to help make it even more effective will soon have an opportunity to do just that.

The Hole in One for 911 charity tournament will see golfers head to the links for a day filled with the sport they enjoy. The monies raised will be used by the Arizona APCO/NENA Chapter to provide scholarships that will help those who are currently employed by an agency in the public safety field to participate in training and other industry events.

In an effort to make the occasion as successful as possible, the organizers have created an assortment of sponsorship opportunities. To thank companies and individuals who choose to show their support, those who do will receive a variety of benefits, depending on the level of their contribution. Eagle, Birdie, Par, and Tee Box levels are all available; the donation level starts at $250.00 and goes up to $2,000. A local printer will be able to provide a variety of promotional products that can be used for swag during this type of fundraising function.

The tournament has been planned for Phoenix’s Papago Golf Course on April 13, and the sponsorship deadline is March 30. More information can be found on the Arizona APCO/NENA website.
