Phoenix festivities planned to show solidarity with local cancer community

Cancer has impacted many people in Phoenix and the surrounding communities, and a special day of activities has been planned in their honor.

The Cancer Support Community Arizona has organized its ‘Day of Hope’, and anyone who has been impacted by cancer, knows someone who has, or who just wishes to show them their support is welcome. It will be a family friendly occasion, and there will be something for all ages.

The organizers have arranged a variety of activities for the function. Live musicians and other entertainers will be on hand for the enjoyment of the crowd, and there will also be an assortment of games set up. Several food trucks will be on site for those who would like to have a bite to eat, and a cupcake walk has also been planned. As a way of saying ‘thank you’ to the public who attends the function, the first 200 guests will receive complementary food.

The planners of the festivities are interested in hearing from any local businesses, groups, or individuals who would like to help bring the event to the public by acting as a sponsor. They can be contacted at (602) 358-0266. A printer can use graphic design to create a variety of marketing items for this type of public occasion.

The ‘Day of Hope’ in support of the Phoenix cancer community will be held on March 3 at 360 East Palm Lane. More information can be found on the organizer’s website.
