Phoenix class to share secrets of floral design

January 20, 2018 by

Phoenix’s Arizona Flower Market will soon be playing host to an event designed to help get the most from the blooms it has to offer.

An upcoming workshop will teach the art of armature and other design techniques that can be used by members of the public to craft bouquets and arrangements they can display in their own home. Local floral designer Brian Vetter, AAF, AIFD, PCFI will facilitate the class, and he will use hands-on teaching to guide the class through the steps they need to take to create an arrangement from their choice of flowers.

According to the event’s organizer, the participants will each walk away with skills they can use whenever they make a bouquet. The ticket price for the occasion, which has been set at $75 each, includes the cost of the materials and tools needed, as well as a gift for each student to take home with them.

The planners expect the class to fill up quickly, so they advise anyone who is interested in participating to register early. Digital copying can be used by a printer to create copies of any learning materials needed for distribution to the attendees of an event like this.

The Spring Vase and Armature class will be held on February 24 in the Arizona Flower Market. Anyone who would like to find out more is invited to visit its website.
