Patchogue supports beautification fundraiser

April 18, 2018 by

Greater Patchogue Foundation Inc. will be presenting its annual Eloise Staudinger Beautification Fundraiser in a few weeks. All funds will go to beautifying our town through planting and landscaping programs. This is the only fundraiser the foundation holds every year.

The event will be a luncheon and a dinner, and guests may choose which meal they prefer. Many local businesses will no doubt be using this event, especially the dinner seating, for corporate gifts.

The organization has been responsible for the Eloise Slaudinger Arch Memorial Benches, Foley Square, and Baker’s Street Lowes Home Town Heroes Trees. It has also created Furman Park, Oak Street Islands and the landscaping on Terry Street and the RR Tower. Beautification on the East End can also be attributed to this organization. The daffodils and tulips springing up all over town are also the work of this 44-year-old organization.

The event will be held next Wednesday, April 25 at Harbor Crab’s ‘The Barefoot Princess’ at 116 Division St. Luncheon seating will run from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm and will cost $25 per meal. Dinner will be served from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will cost $39 per meal.

Reservations can be made by contacting the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce or Harbor Crab. Once RSVPs have been made through the GPCC, guests must call the Harbor Crab to reserve a specific time.
