The Parker Chamber of Commerce recently announced it will be hosting its family festival that is one of the largest in Colorado, its annual Parker Days Festival in June. Banners may abound in the city announcing the days and many activities in the festival.

Attendees are free to walk the streets and enjoy street performers, listen to the many bands on three stages, try out the carnival rides, and partake in the tasty bites, sweet treats, food trucks, and refreshments, A pancake breakfast will be held on the Sunday morning of the festival with proceeds to benefit the Parker Taskforce Food Bank.

The Parker Days Festival Parade will also be held on Sunday morning. This year’s theme is based on rock ‘n’ roll, so entries are encouraged to dance, sing, or perform an old tune and use colors and costumes of the era.

For the kids, there will be bounce rooms, pony rides, and a young children’s area with face painting. New to the festival this year is an inflatable racetrack, a Farmers’ Market, and the first Miss Parker Days Pageant.

The festival will be held beginning Thursday evening June 8, with a headline concert by Brett Michaels, and run Friday evening June 9, and all-day Saturday June 10, and Sunday June 11. The finale to the weekend will be a grand fireworks display.
