Coloring club for adults becomes monthly event in Parker

February 1, 2017 by

The Parker Library is now offering a regular ongoing monthly coloring evening of Coffee and Coloring, where adults can relax and unwind with a cup of coffee and a coloring book.

The sessions will be held in the room upstairs at the front of the new library building. People need to sign up in advance if they want to attend and will receive a reminder by means of email prior to the event. Those who are new to the hobby, or who are already enthusiastic about coloring, can purchase their own coloring books and supplies and bring them to the event.

The library will also provide some printed pages and art supplies for attendees to share. The club encourages adults of all ages to attend, and has so far attracted everyone from late teens to octogenarians.

As of February 9, the evening of Coffee and Coloring will take place on the second Thursday of the month. This one of the many events that the Parker Library holds on a monthly basis, with more information available on Douglas County Libraries’ website.

Libraries often benefit from the assistance of a printing company to create flyers and other materials informing the community of the range of activities they hold for infants, children, teenagers, and adults on a monthly basis.
