Country legend to call in at Orlando

It was recently announced that Orlando will be one of the next stops of the upcoming world tour of country music singer Garth Brooks.

The tour began in the late summer of 2014. Orlando will be part of the North America Leg 6 and will be the third stop. Brooks is performing with his wife Trisha Yearwood as part of the Garth Brooks World Tour, which has already included 250 live performances, the largest number of any touring duo, soloist, or band in the last 30 years.

The duo is expected to perform between 30 and 33 songs. The first dozen will be performed by Brooks, followed by Yearwood while Brooks takes a short break. They sing a few ballads together, after which Brooks closes the show.

One of the unique characteristics of the tour is that Brooks and Yearwood announce the locations of their shows only six weeks in advance, and add dates to any given location depending on the demand.

It has been 18 years since 54-year-old Brooks last performed in Orlando, having taken a break to raise a family.

Brooks and Yearwood will be performing at the Amway Center in Orlando on the evenings of October 7 and 8. Most likely, numerous forms of marketing services will be used to promote the show and attract as many Garth Brooks fans to the concert as possible.
