Many people dream of starting or expanding their own small business, and an Olympia event will explore a variety of financial options that can help to make those plans a reality.

The Seattle District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be hosting an information session during which one of its spokespersons will be providing information about some of the initiatives it offers. Guests will be able to relax with a cup of coffee while they learn about the SBA Loan Guarantee program and how it can be used.

The facilitator will also talk about applying for credit and how it relates to financing a small enterprise. Alternative funding streams will also be explored, and tips will be given to those who participate that can assist them in choosing the one that is the best fit for them. Each person who comes out will walk away with an assortment of information and other free resources they can use to help their business hit the ground running. Brochures and other learning materials for an event like this can be printed by a local printing services provider.

The session will take place on October 18th in the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce at 809 Legion Way SE in Olympia. More details can be obtained by contacting the organizer through its website.
