Olympia event set to showcase its crafty side

Olympia’s River Ridge High School will soon be hosting a holiday fundraiser in support of its band students, and it is hoping the public will be generous in its support.

The craft fair, which will be one of the largest in the county, will have lots to offer those who are trying to get a jump start on their holiday shopping. There will be more than 165 vendors taking part, and everything from original works of art to handmade crafts, food and a wide assortment of other items will be available for purchase. There will be lots to see and do for all ages, and no admission fee will be charged.

Those who come to the fair will be treated to live entertainment, and there will be free admission and door prizes as well. Frosty will also be on site for photos with the young and the young at heart, and the proceeds of the day will be used to help support he River Ridge High School band. A local printer can supply themed calendars and other fundraising items that can be sold during this type of occasion.

The Hawks Holiday Happening Gift and Craft Fair will be taking place on December 2 at 350 River Ridge Drive Southeast, which is located in Olympia. More information about the day can be found on the function’s Facebook listing.
