Morning of Easter-themed fun on the way for Ocoee

January 15, 2018 by

Ocoee will be welcoming spring with a special morning of Easter activities, and local families are invited to hop on in and join the excitement of the day.

The city will be hosting its Annual Easter Eggstravanagza, and the fun is set to kick off at 10:00 am. The activities have been planned for kids from infants up to the age of 12, and there will be lots for them to see and do.

A traditional egg hunt is on the agenda for the morning, and there will also be bouncy castles and other inflatables, as well as face painting, food, and other refreshments. Prizes will be given out, and kids are reminded to check out the Easter themed coloring contest that will also be a part of the celebration. A local printer’s graphic design department will be able to produce items such as these for this type of occasion.

In an effort to help the less fortunate in the community, families are asked to bring along a donation of nonperishable food items to the event, as these will be collected and donated to a local food pantry. They are also reminded to take a basket to hold any eggs they find during the Easter egg hunt.

The Jim Beech Center will serve as the venue for this activity, and it will be held on April 15. Anyone who wishes to find out more has been asked to contact the community’s Parks and Recreation Department at 407-905-3180 for more information.
