Golfers to club together for good cause

The annual Tomorrow Fund Golf Tournament will take place at Warwick Country Club on August 20 from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. Fees are $250 per player with proceeds going to supporting the Tomorrow Fund Clinic.

The fees include 18 holes of golf, use of a golf cart, lunch, cocktails, prizes, a raffle, and dinner. Awards will be presented at the dinner, which may reward such feats as getting a hole-in-one or achieving the longest putt. Sponsorships are available from $150 for a tee sign to $3,500 for a platinum foursome, which includes a tee sign and recognition, perhaps coming in the form of a banner highlighting the sponsor’s company name and logo. With sponsorships most likely to come from companies throughout the Northern Rhode Island area, including nearby Pawtucket, the organizers of the golf tournament will probably be working with local printing companies to provide those banners and other advertising products, which might include flyers.

There will also be an opportunity for business experts to network during the golf tournament. There is unlikely to be any selling but there will certainly be time for participators to exchange business cards and talk briefly about their businesses.

The Tomorrow Fund provides financial support for the families of children with cancer, including such crucial factors as parking at the hospital, home expenses, and everyday necessities. 90% of all children with cancer in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts have received treatment at the Tomorrow Fund Clinic, making this an incredibly important charity to support.
