Newport County to get back in business this March

February 4, 2013 by

The Newport County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Expo 2013 in early March, where over 100 Newport County and East Bay businesses are expected to be on hand to showcase their products and services to the community and to their fellow business peers.

There will be so much more than business exhibits at Expo 2013, however. There will also be door prizes, live musical entertainment, souvenirs, and free samples to be had. Those businesses exhibiting at the expo will likely be handing out promotional items such as pens and notepads, reading literature, and business cards to those who stop by their table.

The Newport County Chamber of Commerce will be providing more information about the event in the March 8 edition of the Newport Daily News. The daily newspaper, which is available all over the region, including nearby Middletown, will contain an insert from the chamber. This insert will no doubt be provided by local printing companies in the form of a flyer or a booklet. Both are very versatile forms of communication and can be distributed in a number of ways other than inserts – they can be sent by direct mail or distributed to various public buildings. It is also likely that the chamber will be sending out information to their members directly.

Expo 2013 will take place at the Newport Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa on Goat Island on March 12 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Tickets are free for chamber members and $3 for non-members. For more information, call 401-847-1608.
