Business expo to highlight local businesses

Expo 2017 is taking place next month, presented by the Newport County Chamber of Commerce.

The expo is a business-to-consumer showcase. Local businesses will be on hand to let the public know about the services they have to offer, and about their latest products. Several companies will also be participating in a job fair to find new employees.

This will be a good opportunity for the public to discover new businesses in their community, and for the businesses to find some new regular customers.

Booths are 8 x 6 feet in size and cost $425 for Newport County Chamber of Commerce members and $507.50 for non-members (which includes a membership), which half tables are available for $225 and $307.50. Job fair tables cost $75 for members and $100 for nonmembers. Those who purchase a booth will receive a company sign and will be mentioned in an advertisement in the Newport Daily News.

No doubt the organizers of the expo will be investing in sign and banner printing services in order to recognize the participating companies who will likely come from all over the area, including Middletown.

Expo 2017 will be held at Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina on March 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Admission is free. To find out more, or to become an exhibitor, contact the Newport County Chamber of Commerce at 401-847-1608.
