The 21sst annual Wineterfest is taking place in Middletown next month over two days.

To kick off this year’s festival, the Wineterfest Speakeasy Soiree will be held on Friday evening from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. It will feature samples of local wine and appetizers. Guests will be entertained during the evening by the New Providence Big Band. Tickets are $40 in advance, $43 at the door and $35 for Case Club and Cru Club members.

The festival itself is set to feature wine tastings serve at a real ice wine bar. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Little Compton Band and The Pourmen. There will be live ice sculpting and a live wine sculpture. A popular event will be the grape stomping competitions that will be held daily at 1:00 and 3:00 PM. The competition is open to anyone but they must register in advance.

To advertise events such as these in Middletown, local print companies are often asked to provide marketing materials such as flyers and posters. These items can be distributed easily and inexpensively.

Wineterfest will be held at the Newport Vineyards from February 18 to 19. Tickets are $25 in advance, $28 at the door and $20 for Case Club/Cru Club members. To find out the latest news about this event or about the Soiree, contact Newport Vineyards at 401-848-5161.
