Strawberry festival set to come into fruition

The 17th annual Strawberry Festival is taking place this June in Hatboro. In addition to the festival, there will also be a craft fair and a flea market.

The festival will feature fresh locally grown strawberries, along with mouthwatering desserts such as strawberry shortcake. There will also be other activities for everyone in the family including children’s games, a bake sale, and food concessions.

Those who wish to take part in the craft fair must sell handmade items only. This can include such things as paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, pottery, and jewelry. They can rent space for $25. Direct vendors selling such items as those from Avon, Pampered Chef, and Mary Kay Cosmetics can rent space for $20. Spaces for the flea market can also be rented for $20. Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, and booths.

Since the festival will take place on the day before Father’s Day, it may be a good place to find an original gift for dad, as well as a suitable way to discover talented artists working in the area.

The festival will likely attract visitors from all over the area including nearby Warminster. Organizers have probably invested in the services of their local print company for such products as flyers and posters to publicize the festival throughout the region.

The event will take place at Hatboro Baptist Church on June 15 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Those who are looking for more information can call 215-378-8448.
