When most people think of buying a gift for a friend or family member, they want to make sure that gift is something original that will appeal to the recipient. The best place to find unique gifts are at local craft shows, and there are several craft and shopping events taking place in the Bucks County area in early December which are sure to offer original, handmade items suitable for gift giving.

The Farmhouse Christmas Craft Show will take place at Moland House in Hartville from up until this Saturday, December 1. The show will feature over 50 artists and crafters selling such items as handmade decorations and jewelry. Admission is $1 and proceeds go towards the Moland House Restoration Project. For more information, call 215-850-1888.

On December 1, the Southampton Community Center will host the Huge Holiday Shopping Extravaganza from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Arts and craft vendors will be selling their items, as will direct sale vendors, non-profit organizations, and local small businesses. For more information, call Wendy Sheahan at 215-396-1754.

A week later, the St. Andrews Christmas Bazaar will be held at the St. Andrews Catholic Education Center in Newtown from December 8 – 9. It will feature arts and crafts, raffles, and pictures with Santa Claus. To find out more, call Jennifer McDonald at 215-968-2685 x312.

There is no doubt that those in Bucks County, including Warminster, will find something appropriate for a friend or loved one at one of these shows. Organizers of these events are likely to be working with local printing companies to get to word out to the community.
