Royersford area event to offer prom-style experience for adults

April 23, 2018 by

Prom season has arrived, and a Royersford area event will prove that all ages can get in on the fun.

The Root Down Brewing Company in Phoenixville has planned a night of dining and dancing open to anyone over 21 who wants to enjoy a prom-style experience, even if their high school days are well in the rear view mirror. Since this will be for those who are adults, the punch bowl will be “spiked”, and an assortment of other drinks – including beer, mead, wine, cider and soft drinks – will be on offer as well.

A menu of appetizers will be available to anyone who would like a bite to eat, and desserts will also be served. A DJ will be playing retro tunes and each guest will enjoy a red carpet entry and have their name announced.

Anyone who wants to make the event even more special is invited to make a “promposal’ to their significant other. A contest has been planned where guests can ask their intended date in the most creative way possible, and the winner will receive a special prize package. Promotional products can be produced for an event like this by a local printer.

The proceeds from Prom: the Remix will be sued to help local high school students attend their own special night in style, even if they are in low-income families. The occasion has been planned for May 20, and more information about both the festivities and Promposals can be found on the organizer’s Facebook listing.
