Annual showcase will allow local businesses to share information

The Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce is presenting its 3rd annual Penn Hills Showcase this March.

This event will give local businesses the opportunity to introduce themselves to the community. Exhibitors will be allowed to provide information about their products or services, but there will be no selling. The public may also be interested to discover several companies that they were previously unaware of, and each company may attract new regular customers. It will also be a networking event among local companies, which will be able to exchange business cards and ideas about doing business in Penn Hills.

Tables are available at the event for $20 each. Companies can provide free items; this may include brochures about services, booklets, catalogs of merchandise, and promotional items such as t-shirts, pens, and notebooks, which will be given out to visitors from all over the area, including nearby Plum. Some may invest in services such as poster printing to provide information on their products, or advertise an upcoming company event. Posters suitable will likely have a pleasing image with minimal mention of the company.

The Penn Hills Showcase will take place at the Penn Hills YMCA on March 13 beginning at 5:30pm. Admission is free for the public. For more information about this annual event or to become an exhibitor, call 412-795-8741.
