Pittsburgh chamber celebrates business excellence

January 13, 2014 by

The annual Celebration of Excellence, presented by the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, is taking place this January.

This event will feature the inauguration of the new Chamber Chairman, the presentation of awards, lunch and entertainment. This year’s celebration will also acknowledge the 110th birthday of the Chamber. Entertainment will be provided by Bob Farmer and the Farmers’ Almanac; Bob has been favorably compared to Garrison Keillor.

Awards to be handed out during the luncheon include Young Entrepreneur, Innovative Business and Ambassador of the Year. Other honors to be awarded during the afternoon are the Jenny Award, Distinguished Service, Small Business Advocate and the Small Business Excellence Award.

The luncheon will be a great networking opportunity for all of the businesspersons who plan to attend. It will give them the chance to talk to their peers, Chamber officials and to congratulate those who are being honored with an award.

Events such as this are the perfect chance to exchange business cards and briefly discuss their company with their Pittsburgh peers. When local leaders need to order new business cards they usually hire local printing companies to provide them. Professionally printed cards make an excellent first impression and go a long way in improving the potential success of a company.

The 2014 Celebration of Excellence is taking place on January 16 at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. To register, and to find out more about the luncheon’s agenda, call 412-264-6270.
