Cornucopia of crafts coming back to to Pennsylvania

April 27, 2013 by

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen’s Fine Craft Fair is taking place over three days next month, and is set to feature approximately 145 vendors who will be selling their hand-crafted two and three-dimensional arts and crafts to the public.

Items to be offered for sale are expected to include such genres as basketry, glass, printmaking, mixed media, paper, wood, leather, jewelry, and metal. It will be a good opportunity for the public to discover new talented artists from the area and for those artists to get excellent exposure within the community. It is also being held on the weekend of Mother’s Day, so it might be a great place to pick up a unique gift for mom.

All artists are welcomed to take part in the fair. Booths are $465 and include a one-year membership in the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. Sponsorships are also available for $1,600 and $2,000, with the higher end sponsors receiving recognition in the program booklet and a booth to display their items. Advertisements are also available in the program booklet from $125 to $850, depending on location and size.

No doubt many of the artists who wish to take part in the show will be working with Philadelphia printing companies to help them prepare. This might include the purchase of sign and banner printing services to help draw attention to their booths.

The Fine Craft Fair will take place in Rittenhouse Square from May 10 to 12. For more information on this free event, call 717-431-8706.
