Find some unique arts and crafts in Media

The 46th annual Media Art Exhibition and Craft Fair, presented by the Media Business Authority, will take place on State Street and Veteran’s Square on June 3 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; the rain date will be June 13th. State Street and Veteran’s Square will both be closed to traffic.

This is a juried show and there are expected to be over 100 artists and crafters showing and selling their products. Last year’s craft fair featured such items as pottery, photography, wearable art, wood crafts, toys, and handbags. There will also be crafting demonstrations held throughout the day. Most of the exhibitors will be local but some do come from nearby states to take part in this yearly event. Several restaurants will also be setting up on State Street and all the stores will be open for browsing and shopping.

Annual arts and crafts shows are now common in many communities throughout the United States. Local artists are given great opportunities to show their artworks and their crafts to the general public and usually for a very low rental fee of a table, a booth, or just a space. It is definitely an inexpensive way of marketing their products to those who are interested in what they have to sell. Media printing companies can help those artists to take full advantage of the fair by providing things such as business card printing services. A business card allows an artist to show a sample of his or her work while providing those interested in buying with the contact information.
