Pay tribute to those who put their lives on the line

Early October will see the East Whiteland Volunteer Fire Company (EWVFC) car show taking place at the Penn Liberty Bank Grounds. With 300 spaces available, all cars and other vehicles are welcome.

Fees to show cars are $8 in advance, or $10 on the day of the event, and cars will be judged in 16 vehicle classes. Awards such as Best in Show and Ladies Choice will be handed out at the end of the day. In addition to the cars, there will be food concessions, a 50/50 draw, entertainment, and vendors.

With artists and crafters, direct sales companies such as Avon and Pampered Chef, antique and collectible sellers, non-profit organizations, and local merchants all represented, vendors who are planning to take part in the car show will no doubt be working with Malvern printing companies to prepare. Non-profit organizations will want to hand out brochures or flyers describing the services they offer and how the public can help. Both of these items can be obtained for very little cost to the organization.

The automotive event is scheduled for October 7 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and admission is free. All proceeds go to support the EWVFC (Station 5) and the Chester County Hero Fund – an organization that seeks to support the families of firefighters, police officers, military personnel, and EMT technicians who were either injured or killed in the line of duty.
