Upcoming fair centers on basics of being environmentally responsible

A Green Fair is coming soon to Souderton in March.

The fair is a presentation of District Eleven of the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. It will be an opportunity for local companies who promote the environment to showcase their products and for residents to learn what they can do to live a greener life.

Seminars on topics such as making a rain barrel, composting, and recycling will help teach guests how to become sustainable without having to spend a lot of money. There will also be various activities for children aged 3 – 12, refreshments and food for sale, a green basket raffle, and door prizes. Local businesses will also be on hand to distribute free samples to guests. It sounds like there will be something at A Green Fair to appeal to every member of the family.

This event should draw people from nearby communities, such as Lansdale, who are interested in becoming more environmentally responsible, or just in learning about what their choices are. No doubt organizers will be working with local printing companies to inform the public about this upcoming fair. They might want to design and print a flyer which can be distributed throughout the area, seeing as flyers are inexpensive and one of the most effective forms of marketing available.

A Green Fair will take place at Generations of Indian Valley in Souderton on March 9 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Admission is free. For more information, contact Mary at 215-920-2959.
