Valentine’s Day wouldn’t be much without chocolate and wine and, to get in the spirit of the holiday, several wineries near Easton are offering special tasting events on Valentine’s weekend.

On February 15 and 16, Blue Mountain Winery in Lynn Township will host a chocolate and wine sampling event. Mary Dworski from candy company Sweet Finesse, will be at the winery to offer visitors tastes of chocolate and wine. The event lasts from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on both days. Saturday’s event will include live music from Adam Motto until 4:00 pm.

Over in Breinigsville, Clover Hill Winery will be holding a chocolate tasting on February 14 and 15 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The winery will offer visitors a taste of wine-filled chocolates from Simply Chocolates. Wines by the glass will be available for purchase as well. At its vineyard in Robesonia, the winery will be offering treats from Premise Maid Candies, paired with a selection of wine on February 15 and 16 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The winery could use postcard printing to spread the word about the tastings to regular customers.

Also, Franklin Hill Vineyards will offer a Valentine’s Day-themed happy hour on Friday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at each of its stores, located in Bethlehem, Lower Nazareth, and Tannersville. In honor of the holiday, the Vineyards’ stores will be pairing wine with sweets, including brownies and chocolates.
