Doylestown set to celebrate Ukrainian style

A Doylestown area function has been planned that will offer those who attend a chance to experience a Ukrainian-style holiday celebration.

The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center has organized its annual Bazaar, and there will be lots to do, see, and eat for all ages. Traditional dishes such as pierogis, borscht (beetroot soup), stuffed cabbage and many other dishes will be served, and guests can also purchase Easter bread and an assortment of baked goods.

The beer lovers in the crowd will have an opportunity to sample what the Eastern European country has to offer, and there will also be vodka to try. The public can browse through the displays and meet with the vendors, and there will also be entertainment and other activities to enjoy.

The organizers of the bazaar are interested in hearing from any area crafters who may be considering setting up a display. Each person or company that does so will have the use of a table and two chairs. Electricity is also available for an additional fee.

The Boris Zacharczuk Grand Ballroom has been chosen as the venue for the occasion, and parking can be accessed on a first come, first served basis. A printing services provider can supply branded packaging supplies and other printed products for a function like this.

The bazaar will be taking place on December 9, starting at 9:00 am. Anyone who would like to know more can find additional details on the listing for the event.
