The 22nd annual Arts Festival comes to Doylestown this weekend. Free to the public, it will offer entertainment for adults, kids, and even dogs.

Not only is admission to the festival free, but people will also be able to park free of charge at the lot at the Bucks County Courthouse as well. The borough could use banner printing to advertise this opportunity during the two days of the festival.

The event will feature more than 150 exhibitors. Works of art will include pottery, painting, and photography, and will extend to the musical arts as well. There will be several stages set up during the event, including ones at the intersection of State and Main Streets and Main and Oakland Streets. Performers during the festival include Almost Fab at 3:30 pm on Saturday at the State and Main stage and the Bucks County Folk Song Society on Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 pm at the stage at State and Pine.

The Thompson Bucks County Classic is another major draw for the festival. The bike race is one of just three internationally sanctioned road races in the country. Its course features six 14-mile laps. The Classic is scheduled for 10:30 am this Saturday, September 7.

While the Classic is for the pros, the Cyclesportif 100k is for riders of all experience levels. Covering a full 62 miles, the ride will begin on Sunday at 8:30 am.

The Doylestown Arts Festival will be held from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm both days this weekend. If the weather is rainy or otherwise unpleasant, it will most likely be rescheduled.
