Meet the neighbors at the Neighborhood Business Expo

February 4, 2012 by

The 2012 Neighborhood Business Expo will take place at the Four Points Sheraton Pittsburgh North on March 26 from 3-8 pm. Exhibitor tables are available for $250 for Chamber of Commerce, Inc. members and $350 for non-members.

The business expo will give local businesses the chance to market their company to those in the community and find new customers. Everyone wants to buy local these days and is looking for information on the businesses in their community. The expo will also give business leaders the chance to interact and network with their peers.

Each vendor is given an 8 ft table in which they can display their products or provide literature about their services. Freebies would draw lots of people to your table. Nearby printing companies, such as those in Cranberry Township, can help design and provide items which contain your company’s logo for a very low price. People always like to get something for free and providing them with a pen or a notepad or a magnet with your company logo somewhere on it will endear them to you. It will also ensure that your company name gets passed around and noticed.

Last year’s expo featured over 140 booths and brought in over 900 people from the community; there is nothing to suggest it won’t be even bigger this year as attendance has grown over the years.

In addition to the business expo there will also be a neighborhood block party. This will be a relaxed, informal event in which business leaders and those in the community can interact with one another without having to sell something.
