Butler planning to Sweat Pink to fight breast cancer

September 22, 2017 by

An evening of active fun in support of women living with breast cancer has been planned for Butler, and the organizers have issued an invitation for all to attend.

This will mark the eighth year for Sweat Pink, which will be an evening of friendship and fun. Upon arrival, attendees will be able to purchase tickets for the raffles that will be included in the event, and there will be lots of other excitement as well.

Each participant will receive a goody bag full of branded swag and other treats, and a station will be set up where they can go as pink as they like by using the colored hairspray and makeup that will be provided. A photo booth will be on site to capture the occasion, and there will be draws for door prizes as well.

At 6:00 pm, the dance fitness portion of the night will begin. It will run for two or more hours, and the participants are invited to cut loose and have a great time. Tickets are $20 each, and all of the proceeds will be donated to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. Banners and other decorations can help to add an even more festive air to a fundraiser like this.

The evening has been planned for October 16, and will be held in Butler Intermediate High School. More information, and a chance to register ahead of time, can be found on its event listing.
