Celebrate business of the year in Beaver County

March 12, 2012 by

The Beaver County Chamber of Commerce’s annual gala will take place at the Seven Oaks Country Club on March 16 beginning at 7 pm; the theme of the event is Mardi Gras. This will also be the 40th anniversary celebration of the Chamber of Commerce.

The event will feature a networking reception beginning at 7 pm followed by dinner and the program beginning at 8 pm. The Business of the Year award will be handed out during the evening. Sponsorships are available ranging in price from $500 to $5000; all sponsors will at least receive recognition in the gala program book.

Business and government leaders from all over the areas, including Beaver Falls will be celebrating the chamber and taking the opportunity to grow their referral networks. Those who attend will most definitely be arranging for business card printing in advance of the gala.

While this is mainly a social event, it is celebrating the anniversary of an organization that is extremely important to area businesses. Members and their guests will not miss this chance to possibly take their business to the next level due to a referral they received at this event. There is no “hard sell” networking at an event like this, usually it involves chatting and exchanging business cards, and maybe the promise to follow up as soon as possible after the event. It is recommended you follow up with your new contact the next day to let them know that you are serious about helping them any way you can.
