The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is presenting the seminal ‘Professional Networking: How to Achieve Success through Various Networking Techniques’ at the Hilton Garden Inn – Allentown Bethlehem Airport on January 27 from 11:15 am-1:30 pm. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members; lunch will be provided.

Networking has become an integral part of doing business today and knowing how to best manage that aspect is crucial to your success. This event will show you how to use your Chamber membership to your best advantage, the best ways to network and how to use social media sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn to grow your referral network.

The first step is to get a business card. Printing companies in Allentown can design a professional-looking card that you will be proud to hand out to everyone you meet at networking events. You should only attend networking events in which you will meet people related to your type of business or the services you can offer them; otherwise you are wasting your time. You should try and attend at least one networking event each month to grow your network, and to become adept at networking. You should work networking events into your schedule; that makes sure that attending them is not a last minute thing and that you are not rushed. The most important thing to remember about networking events is that you should follow up with those you meet as soon as possible with an email or a phone call.
