Since the 1960s, the NYCB Theatre at Westbury has offered a range of performance options to those living on Long Island, from musical acts to Broadway shows. Along with offering a wide range of entertainment options, the theater is known for having great acoustics as well as incredibly comfortable seats.

This month, the theater is to continue its tradition of offering a multitude of shows. Fans of the Swedish disco group Abba will get to relive the band’s glory with ‘Abba the Concert’ this Friday, April 19. Tickets for the tribute performance are $39.50 and are available through Live Nation and TicketMaster.

On April 20, Beatles devotees can enjoy two performances of ‘Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles’. It made its Broadway debut in 2010 and ran for 300 performances. It was a successful touring production before its Broadway debut and remains on tour today. The show will take place at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 20. Tickets for each show are $49.50. Poster printing can help spread the word about the musical, as well as the Abba tribute.

Towards the end of the month, Lewis Black, the funnyman famous for his irate rants and appearances on ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’, will bring his standup routine to the NYCB Theatre at Westbury for two nights. Black makes a stop in Westbury as part of his ‘The Rant is Due’ tour, on April 26 and 27. Both shows are at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the performances are $49.50 for the mezzanine and $59.50 for orchestra seating.
