Chamber tries something new with casual event

Between the chamber’s first cocktail night and the e-mail marketing workshop that’s taking place on the same day, Syosset professionals have a comfortable number of options to look forward to on March 29th.

Of these two events, “The Power of E-mail Marketing” is taking place first in the form of an early morning workshop. With so many people regularly checking their e-mail accounts and countless others spending significant amounts of time on the Internet, companies can now take a more proactive approach to using their digital business cards. Expected to begin at 10:00am, the purpose of this Roslyn-based presentation is to show business owners and decision makers how they can take this up to date strategy and incorporate it into their own marketing campaigns.

Later the same day, the Syosset Chamber of Commerce will be trying out a new means of helping local entrepreneurs and career-minded individuals interact with one another in a no-pressure environment. The first ever “Casual Chamber Cocktails” event is going to be taking place on the 29th at Mim’s Restaurant.

Beginning at 5:30pm and concluding about an hour and a half later at 7:00pm, businesspeople have the option of arriving immediately after work. Appetizers are on the house but individuals will need to bring some money to pay for everything else, this is the perfect way for busy professionals to unwind.

For those who weren’t able to RSVP on time, there’s nothing to worry about since there are sure to be more “Casual Chamber Cocktails” events in the future.
