Smithtown has busy next few weeks ahead

Whether an individual is angling for a fun evening as a resident or planning to support new changes in Chamber leadership as a member of the business community, it is clear that Smithtown has a lot going on in the coming weeks.

Local printing companies have undoubtedly had their work cut out for them this past little while with ‘The Cast of Beatlemania’ doing a Beatles Tribute at the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts on the September 2. Those who have an appreciation for live music are definitely going to be in for a treat. With tickets ranging from $36 to $40, there is a lot to be said for attending this evening event. It all starts with the company getting to know people the old-fashioned way and begins in the evening at 7:00 pm.

The following week, Smithtown will be hosting the upcoming “Dine with Wine Restaurant Week” from September 9 – 16. Set at a cost of $25 per person with wine priced at $5 for that first glass, this is another example of how local businesses can market themselves fairly effectively simply by interacting a bit with prospective customers. Although this is undoubtedly going to be a great time for participants, there is no denying the powerful promotional opportunities available to local restaurants during this one.

Finally, the Smithtown Chamber will be installing its officers on September 27 at the Carrabba’s Italian Grill at noon. Business brains should consider signing up for one of these events today.
