The 30th annual HIA-LI’s Trade Show and Conference is taking place next month in nearby Brentwood, presented by the Hauppage Industrial Association of Long Island.

The trade show is set to feature over 375 booths from local businesses, and booths are still available for rental. Fees are $800 for HIA-LI members or $1,200 for nonmembers for an 8-foot booth, $900 or $1,300 for a 10-foot booth, and $1,1775 or $2,175 for a 20-foot booth.

The day will start off with breakfast featuring a keynote speech from endurance athlete Antarctic Mike. It will then be followed by several seminars on topics such as how to find the best employees, sales plans, and leadership tips.

A luncheon will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, set to feature a panel discussion about Long Island development. It will be moderated by Mitch Pally of the Long Island Builders’ Association and will include Russ Albanese of the Albanese Organization and David Wolkoff from Heartland Business Center.

Most of those planning to attend from all over the area, including Smithtown, will no doubt be bringing their business cards to exchange with their peers.

The Trade Show and Conference will be held at the SCCC Sports and Exhibition Center on May 31 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tickets are $100 each and include breakfast and lunch, as well as seminars. Just one meal and the seminars can be booked for $50. Admission to the trade show is free to the public if they preregister. Call 631-543-5355 to learn more.
