Between the Harry Apkarian Memorial Golf Classic and the upcoming marketing seminar, the Chamber of Schenectady County is giving members a chance to enjoy the outdoors in a more competitive atmosphere, as well as an opportunity to acquire some valuable information this month.

Already listed as sold out on the Schenectady Chamber’s website, the Harry Apkarian Memorial Golf Classic on May 21st is as solid a means of networking as any other, while and enjoying a few rounds at the same time. Being held at the Mohawk Golf Club, this event will start at 11:00 am and end later in the evening at 8:00 pm. Even so, it’s worth pointing out that there’s a lot more behind the Golf Classic than a simple all-day outing. With proceeds going towards scholarship programs, professional development courses, and the Schenectady Military Affairs Council among others, there are plenty of worthwhile causes being supported here.

Although there’s no more room for golfers, organizers have said there are still seats available for the banquet. Printing companies are probably hard at work producing the prints that are needed here but, even so, local professionals have nothing to lose by making an order for business card printing to start.

Speaking of printing services and their potential uses, the chamber is also hosting a workshop on May 22nd. Going by the title “Integrated Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Business”, it’s immediately clear that this is going to be yet another practical and content-filled seminar. Going from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, business professionals also have the option of attending this one.
