During the month of August, the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle will be holding its annual auction to raise money to support the organization’s operations and programs for children between the ages of six and 18. No doubt the organization is using flyer printing to make those in the community and elsewhere aware of the fund-raising efforts, and the many prizes that can be won.

Those who participate in the auction will can bid on items that include two tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII, which will be held at MetLife Stadium, a ride in a hot-air balloon, golf at the Wykagyl Country Club, Prime Time Emmy Awards tickets, a Ritz-Carlton getaway weekend for two, and a deluxe kids’ birthday party. The auction ends at exactly 8:00pm on September 5th.

According to the executive director for the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle, Quay Williams, with children’s needs growing dramatically in the past few years, so too have the needs for funding. The money raised by the annual auction enables the organization to provide some of its most important programs about healthy living habits and college and career counselling, as well as special programs called Passport to Manhood and SMART Girls.

Williams said the funds raised are also used for supporting operating expenses and helping the Club to make improvements to several facilities throughout the community. There are over 2,000 children who are served by the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle.
